When does Rehoboth Beach boardwalk open?
Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk opens at 9 a.m. It is open year-round but there are some regulations in place. Dogs are prohibited from the boardwalk from May through September. Bicycles are only allowed from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m., from mid-May through mid-September. Roller blades and skateboards are prohibited from mid-May through mid-September.
Is Rehoboth Beach for families?
Yes, Rehoboth Beach has a ton of family-friendly activities and attractions for all ages including fun rides, a lazy river, waterslides, mini-golf, and go-karts at Jungle Jim’s, Funland, and Midway Speedway Park. Consider renting bikes for the family to explore the local area. You can also create memories on the beach with kid-friendly movie screenings, and beach bonfires.
When does Funland in Rehoboth Beach open?
Opening Day for the warm season is in early May and opens at 1pm. There is no set closing time in season, as it largely depends on factors like weather conditions and the size of the crowd. During mid-summer, Funland rarely closes before 11pm. The truth is in its name so expect to have a blast.
What time does Jungle Jim's open?
When the season for Jungle Jim’s starts, which is on Memorial Day Weekend, it opens at 10 a.m. It closes at 5 p.m., with the last ticket for the water park, batting cages, bumper boats, and miniature golf sold no later than 4:15 p.m. There is plenty of time for you to enjoy southern Delaware’s top destination for family fun.
How old do you have to be to parasail in Rehoboth Beach?
Anyone who is at least two years old and not pregnant can parasail as part of a tandem. The total weight can’t exceed 425 pounds. If you’re going alone, you should weigh at least 125 pounds. Each parasailing trip takes an hour and each participant is in the air for roughly 12 to 15 minutes.
Can I rent jet skis in Rehoboth Beach?
Yes, all your jet-ski and boat rental needs can be satisfied at Dewey Beach Watersports, just south of Ruddertowne. An hour costs $99 and a ½ hour is $79. Life jackets and a brief lesson are included. There are also plenty of boats to be rented if you’re looking for a calmer time on the ocean and bay.
What are Cape Henlopen State Park's hours and fees?
Cape Henlopen State Park in Delaware is open from 8 am until sunset so you have plenty of time to enjoy the sights. From April to October, the park office is open seven days a week. The rest of the year, you can get to the park office between Monday and Friday from 8am until 4pm. For residents, there is a $5 entry fee and a $10 entry fee for non-residents. Off-season is free admission.
Where can you rent bicycles in Rehoboth Beach?
If you want to bike through the Delaware state parks, you’re going to want to make your way to Atlantic Cycles Bike Rentals at 18 Wilmington Avenue. There are plenty of high-quality road and mountain bikes. Come out and take care of the whole family with Surreys, Tandems, Hybrid, kid’s bikes. Atlantic Cycles has Fuji brand bicycles you can rent for a day at parks and boardwalks.
Do I need a fishing license in Delaware?
A general fishing license is required for fishing, crabbing, or clamming throughout the State of Delaware f you’re a resident of Delaware, the annual license fee is $8.50. For non-residents, the license fee is $20 per year. You can get a seven-day tourist license fee for $12.50. These licenses allow you to fish in any of Delaware’s fresh and tidal waters, which you can also use for crabbing and clamming. A fishing license is good through the end of calendar year in which it was issued.
Where are the best places for surf fishing in Rehoboth Beach?
Delaware’s Rehoboth Beach is a prime spot for surf-fishing. There are plenty of scenic state parks in the area with beaches that are ideal for surf-fishing. We suggest checking out Cape Henlopen State Park in Lewes where you might get lucky and catch a shark. You can also fish off of Dewey Beach and bring home your own striper.

Does Dogfish Head Brewery offer tours?
Dogfish Head Brewery offers free tours of the facility on a first come, first serve basis. They try to get everyone in but it fills up quickly so head out there early. The doors open at 11 am Monday through Saturday and noon on Sunday. The tour includes up to 4 free samples of beer in the tasting room.
Are there self-guided tours and tastings at Rehoboth Beach wineries?
Yes, head on out to Nassau Valley Vineyards in Lewes. Self-guided tours and wine tastings are available year round between Tuesday and Saturday, from 11 am to 5 pm and from noon to 5 pm on Sunday. Self-guided tours are free. Tastings are five dollars per person, and you are welcome to take your tasting glass as a souvenir.
Where is the best Rehoboth Beach waterfront dining?
Rehoboth Beach is your go-to spot for the best eateries including waterfront eats. For a fine dining experience with waterfront views, head to the Boardwalk Plaza Hotel where you’ll find Victoria’s Restaurant with alfresco dining and a stunning view of the ocean. You can also dock your boat at the Indian River Inlet for fresh oysters at Hammerheads Dockside.
Where can I eat seafood in Rehoboth Beach?
If you’re looking for fresh seafood, there are many dining spots in Rehoboth Beach to choose from, especially on Wilmington Avenue like the reservation-free Henlopen City Oyster House, the modern Salt Air eatery, and the laid-back Shorebreak Lodge. Claws Seafood House is also an option on Rehoboth Avenue, where you can find some of the best crabs and lobsters in town.
